Faceted Moldavite Pendant

Faceted moldavite is incredibly rare because the raw material—a 15-million-year-old extraterrestrial tektite—is limited to a single geographic area in the Czech Republic and features a high density of internal gas bubbles and natural glass flow lines that make it incredibly difficult to cut. To cut one stone you’d have to have a very large piece to work with, which are becoming more rare everyday.
