Article 1 – Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

Consumer:
A natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession.

Parties:
The Entrepreneur and the Consumer collectively.

Agreement:
A distance contract concluded between the Entrepreneur and the Consumer.

Products:
All physical goods offered by TeddysTarot.

Digital Content / Services:
All readings, downloads, and other digitally delivered services.

Right of Withdrawal:
The Consumer’s legal right to cancel the agreement within the applicable period.

Article 2 – Applicability

2.1 These Terms apply to all agreements between Entrepreneur and Consumer.
2.2 By placing an order, the Consumer agrees to these Terms.
2.3 Deviations are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

Article 3 – Formation of the Agreement

3.1 The Agreement is concluded once the Consumer accepts the offer and meets the conditions.
3.2 The Entrepreneur confirms the order via email.
3.3 The Entrepreneur reserves the right to refuse orders where justified.

Article 4 – Right of Withdrawal

4.1 General

The Consumer has the right to withdraw within 14 days after receiving the product.

Return conditions:

• Must be requested via email first and filling in the return form.
• Must be returned within 14 days
• Must be unused and in original condition
• Must include a filled in return form. 
• Must include ALL items that were sent with the item, including complimentary items, business cards, packaging, organza bags etc. 

Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

4.2 Exclusion of Withdrawal Right

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Digital products and tarot readings
• Services already started with Consumer consent
• Mystery boxes (intuitively and personally curated)
• Adjustable rings (structure/seal altered upon handling or resizing)
• Earrings (hygiene and health protection)
• Custom-made or personalized products
• Sale / discounted items
• Payment plan / reserved items
• Products subject to market fluctuations (e.g. gemstones, precious metals)
• “Open Box” items due to the market fluctuations. 

For these categories:
All sales are final. No returns or refunds.

4.3 Digital Content & Readings

By purchasing a reading or digital service:

• The Consumer explicitly agrees to immediate delivery
• The Consumer waives their right of withdrawal

All readings are non-refundable and final.

4.4 Return Shipping Risk

Returns are entirely at the Consumer’s risk.
TeddysTarot is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. So, always package returns with care and intention.

Article 5 – Cancellation & Refunds

5.1 Valid withdrawals are refunded within 14 days, excluding shipping costs.
5.2 Refunds are processed after the returned item is received.
5.3 Any loss in value due to use is the Consumer’s responsibility.

5.4 We withhold a 20% restocking fee on any return or order cancellation 

Article 6 – Prices & Promotions

6.1 All prices displayed on the website are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated.

6.2 TeddysTarot reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. Prices may increase or decrease due to changes in market conditions, availability, sourcing costs, precious metal values, gemstone market values, exchange rates, shipping costs, or other factors beyond our control.

6.3 Certain items may be excluded from discounts, promotional offers, coupon codes, sales events, or other price reductions. This may apply to, but is not limited to, rare, collectible, limited edition, one-of-a-kind, custom-made, investment-grade, or high-demand items.

6.4 Discounts, promotional codes, and special offers cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases and may not be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6.5 While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, obvious pricing errors, typographical mistakes, technical errors, or incorrect product listings are not binding. TeddysTarot reserves the right to cancel any order affected by such an error and issue a full refund if payment has already been received.

6.6 Sale items, clearance items, discounted products, promotional products, and special offer items are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, refunds, or price adjustments unless required by applicable law.

6.7 The placement of an item in a shopping cart does not reserve the item or guarantee the displayed price. A purchase agreement is only formed once payment has been successfully completed and the order has been accepted by TeddysTarot.

6.8 TeddysTarot reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders where fraud, abuse of promotions, pricing errors, or other irregularities are suspected.

6.9 By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the pricing, promotion, and discount policies outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

Article 7 – Payment

7.1 The Entrepreneur may require a deposit (max. 50%).
7.2 Deposits are non-refundable.
7.3 Late payments result in default and may incur legal interest and collection fees.

Article 8 – Delivery

8.1 Delivery time is typically 5–14 business days.
8.2 During busy periods, delivery may take longer.
8.3 Shipping risk transfers to the Consumer once dispatched.
8.4 Incorrect address details are the Consumer’s responsibility.

Article 9 – Warranty

9.1 Products meet reasonable expectations of quality.
9.2 Gemstones are natural and may vary in appearance. Inclusions are natural and normal in gemstones. Crystals are never perfect. They are creations of mother earth herself. 
9.3 Normal wear and improper use are not covered.

Measurements, weights, and dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly due to the handmade and natural nature of the products.

9.4 Crystal Products & Natural Characteristics

Crystals, gemstones and minerals are natural creations of the Earth. Because of this, no crystal will ever be 100% “perfect” or identical to another. Nature is imperfectly perfect, and natural characteristics such as inclusions, internal fractures, caves, lines, texture differences, color variations, druzy areas, small chips and other natural formations are completely normal and part of the uniqueness and beauty of genuine crystal products.

Some of our products state they are intuitively chosen or mystery items. By purchasing these products, the customer understands and agrees that the received item may differ from the exact product photo shown on the website in shape, color tone, size, pattern, inclusions or natural formations. Product photos are intended as examples and aesthetic representations of the material quality and style.

We also use professional editing and artificial intelligence background styling applications to enhance product presentation and create interior inspiration imagery. These edits are purely aesthetic for interior inspiration and do not alter the actual crystal itself.

9.5 Jewelry Care & Materials

Sterling silver jewelry may naturally oxidize or tarnish over time. This is normal and can usually be cleaned and polished using a silver polishing cloth or proper jewelry care products.

Gold plated, silver plated, rose gold plated or otherwise coated jewelry may naturally fade, discolor or wear over time depending on skin acidity, moisture exposure, perfume, cosmetics, sweat, storage conditions and frequency of use. Customers are responsible for treating plated jewelry with proper care.

A jewelry care guide and polishing cloth may be included with applicable orders. To preserve the quality and lifespan of jewelry, customers are advised to:

• Avoid water, perfume, lotion and chemicals
• Not wear jewelry while sleeping, exercising, showering, swimming or working
• Store jewelry carefully and dry after use
• Handle gemstone jewelry with additional care, even when made from sterling silver

Certain gemstones require extra caution. For example, Ethiopian Opal is hydrophane, meaning it naturally absorbs water and moisture. Exposure to liquids may permanently alter its appearance, transparency or color.

Brass items can give discolouration on the skin when you were it a lot or it comes into contact with sweat or water. Unfortunately this is inevitable due to it being a more affordable option we offer. However our high end sterling silver collection is something that can be worn daily. 

TeddysTarot is not liable for damage, discoloration, breakage, tarnishing or wear caused by improper handling, accidents, moisture exposure, chemical exposure, incorrect storage, or normal usage by the consumer after delivery.

9.6 Adjustable Rings

Adjustable rings are designed to be adjusted carefully once in order to fit the wearer comfortably. Repeated bending, pulling or reshaping creates structural weakness and may cause the ring to weaken, crack or break over time.

By purchasing adjustable rings, the customer acknowledges and accepts that improper or repeated adjustment is done at their own risk. Damage caused by repeated bending or force is not covered under warranty.

Specific conditions:

• Adjustable rings must only be adjusted once
• Damage from repeated bending is not covered
• Jewelry requires proper care to maintain quality
• Adjustable Rings are final sale items and can not be returned

Article 10 – Complaints & Disputes

10.1 Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time via email.
10.2 The Entrepreneur responds within 14 days.
10.3 Dutch law applies to all agreements.

Article 11 – Readings

11.1 Readings are digital, personalized services and non-refundable.
11.2 Standard processing time: up to 14 business days.
11.3 Emergency readings are prioritized.
11.4 The Consumer is responsible for providing correct information.

Article 12 – Payment Plans

12.1 Available for orders starting from €250.
12.2 Deposit: minimum 25% (non-refundable).
12.3 The product is reserved and removed from the market.

Important:

• Payment plan purchases are final and cannot be cancelled or returned
• This is due to market fluctuations in gemstones and precious metals
• If payments are not completed, the order is cancelled and the deposit remains as store credit

Article 13 – Intellectual Property & Content Protection

13.1 All content on the TeddysTarot website, including but not limited to:

• texts
• product descriptions
• images
• branding
• designs
• digital content

is the exclusive property of TeddysTarot.

13.2 It is strictly prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from the website without prior written consent from TeddysTarot.

13.3 Unauthorized use of any content will be considered a violation of intellectual property rights and will result in legal action.

Article 14 – Privacy & Confidentiality of Readings

14.1 All readings provided by TeddysTarot are strictly private and confidential.

14.2 It is not permitted to:

• share
• forward
• publish
• distribute

any reading (in full or in part) to third parties without explicit written permission.

14.3 Sharing or distributing readings may constitute a violation of privacy laws and intellectual property rights.

14.4 In case of violation, TeddysTarot reserves the right to take legal action.

Article 15 – Delivery & Processing Times

15.1 Physical products are typically shipped within 7 business days.

15.2 Delivery times may vary depending on workload, availability, and external shipping factors.

TeddysTarot shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, postal disruptions, customs delays, supplier shortages, pandemics, governmental actions, or technical failures.

Article 16 – Reading Processing Times

16.1 Readings are delivered within 1 to 14 business days, depending on workload and order volume.

16.2 Processing time starts from the next business day after purchase.

16.3 During busy periods, delivery may take longer.

Article 17 – Priority / Emergency Readings 

17.1 Priority (Emergency) readings are processed with highest priority.

17.2 These readings are delivered significantly faster and always take precedence over standard orders.

17.3 Availability of priority readings depends on capacity and must be confirmed where applicable.

Article 18 – Chargebacks, Payment Disputes & Fraud Prevention

18.1 By placing an order, the Consumer explicitly agrees to these Terms and acknowledges that all purchases are subject to the refund and return policies stated herein.

18.2 The Consumer agrees to contact TeddysTarot directly first before initiating any chargeback, dispute, or claim with a payment provider.

18.3 Initiating a chargeback without prior contact, while the order has been delivered or processed in accordance with these Terms, will be considered bad faith and abuse of buyer protection systems.

18.4 In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute:

• The Entrepreneur reserves the right to provide all relevant evidence to the payment provider, including:
  • proof of delivery
  • order confirmations
  • email communication
  • acceptance of Terms & Conditions
  • product descriptions and policy disclosures

18.5 If a chargeback is initiated unjustly, the Consumer may be held liable for:

• the original order amount
• administrative costs
• chargeback fees
• legal costs

18.6 The Entrepreneur reserves the right to deny future orders from Consumers who initiate disputes in bad faith.

18.7 Fraudulent claims, including false “item not received” or “not as described” disputes, may result in legal action.

Article 19 – Open Box Service

19.1 TeddysTarot offers customers the option to use an Open Box Service. This allows multiple orders to be combined and shipped together at a later date, helping to reduce shipping costs, packaging materials, and environmental impact.

19.2 The customer is solely responsible for informing TeddysTarot when they would like their Open Box to be shipped. Orders will remain stored in the Open Box until a shipping request has been made.

19.3 Orders placed in an Open Box cannot be cancelled, modified, exchanged, or refunded once purchased.

19.4 Items stored in an Open Box are not eligible for returns or refunds. This is due to inventory being reserved specifically for the customer, as well as potential market value and price fluctuations during the storage period.

19.5 TeddysTarot is not responsible for reminding customers about active Open Boxes. It is the customer’s responsibility to keep track of their Open Box and request shipment when desired.

19.6 Items placed in an Open Box are reserved exclusively for the customer and removed from public sale. For this reason, all Open Box purchases are considered final.

19.7 Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipping address remains accurate and up to date throughout the Open Box storage period. TeddysTarot cannot be held responsible for delays, losses, returned packages, or additional shipping costs resulting from incorrect or outdated address information provided by the customer.

19.8 Shipping rates and carrier fees are subject to change. If shipping costs increase during the Open Box storage period, the customer may be required to pay the difference before shipment can take place.

19.9 If an Open Box remains inactive for a period of three (3) months, or if no response is received from the customer regarding shipment, TeddysTarot reserves the right to automatically close and ship the Open Box to the customer’s most recently provided shipping address. Any outstanding shipping fees must be paid before shipment can take place.

19.10 Risk of loss and ownership of the items transfers to the customer upon successful delivery of the Open Box shipment.

19.11 By using the Open Box Service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy (GDPR)

TeddysTarot respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with GDPR.

Data collected:

• Name, email, address, order details
• Payment handled via secure third parties
• Information provided for readings

Purpose:

• Order processing
• Customer communication
• Legal compliance

Data is never sold to third parties.
